Roux's retirement litter
Our beautiful foundation girl Spring Hills Sunlit Roux is due to have her retirement litter this year.
On May 30th 2026 Roux was transcervically inseminated with frozen semen from Rutlands Riverdance (Danny)
She will undergo an ultrasound to ascertain pregnancy status on 27th June.
This will be a very special litter rekindling some divine genetics that have been slowly lost over the last 20 years.

An ode to Asha and our Winter Wonder litter:
On a dull n dreary winter's night
Asha decided to set things right
With a push and a squeal at quarter to one
Asha became a first time mum.
A natural whelper with grace n flair
She gave us a male with shiny red hair.
With focus and effort second to none
A chocolate drop then greeted his mum.
2 little boys fifteen minutes apart
No rest for Asha as contractions did start
Whilst cleaning her pups, her body did heave
And a little red male began to breathe
At 1.55 not a moment to spare
A petite little girl with sleek red hair
To continue her roll with no ado
A chocolate male at ten past 2
Starting to tire, mum took a spell
In just 30 minutes her vulva did swell
And into the world, no hearing or sight
A little black male greeted the night.
Just 5 minutes later, in a blink of the eye
Another black male we did spy.
The vet saw seven but what do you know
At 3.20 the last did show.
A tiny choc boy, a really little kicker,

Marley is a lovely straight coated 15 month old girl with a strong human focus and a desire to please.
Marley is seeking a guardian home where she is the centre of her guardians lives.
She gets along well with other dogs (currently lives with 7 others) however prefers to be the centre of attention for her humans. Marley is house and crate trained with basic commands.
Marley can be stand offish with new people at the home (visitors etc) but warms up quickly. Marley can be a barker if her physical and physcological needs are not being fulfilled so would benefit from a family who is home most of the time.
She would benefit from a family that enjoys swimming.
Marley has been raised by myself and my mother here at home and resides in my mothers house (dual-living property).
Marley was born during a time of ill health for me which affected my ability to get her out and about on a regular basis. Therefore her socialisation could do with some work to raise her confidence in new situations. She is a very trusting girl and learns quickly. She is not a fussy eater and does not have food sensitivities. She walks beautifully on a lead and travels well in a car.
Marley's hormonal maturity is being suppressed by living in a pack environment.
Marley really is a lovely girl and possesses all the traits cobberdogs are well known for. It is my belief she will truly come into her own in the right environment.
